QuickStart LLC is a web-based application which allows the organizer of a Wisconsin limited liability company to draft, sign and deliver their articles of organization to this department on-line, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No paper form need ever be created unless, of course, you want to print a hard copy at the time the filing is made. Filing and service fees are remitted using your MasterCard or Visa credit card.

The Quickstart LLC fee was lowered to $130 starting March 5th.
Paper-based LLC Articles of Organization (Form 502) were increased to $170 to reflect the greater processing costs compared with electronic filing. If expedited service is specified for paper-based Form 502, the transaction is subject to an additional $25 fee.

Changes to Paper Based

Due to the availability of Quickstart LLC, the department has discontinued accepting Articles of Organization (Form 502) via FAX. Making use of Quickstart LLC necessitates remittance of fee by MasterCard or Visa, so you may want to plan for that contingency.

The increased fee for paper-based LLC applications (Form 502) went into effect Monday, March 5, 2001.
