A listing of them is available at: http://moneysmartwi.org/FoxCities/ Money Smart Week Wisconsin, created by Governor Doyle’s Council on Financial Literacy, was the first statewide financial literacy social awareness campaign in the country when it began in 2006. Its goal is to improve the financial literacy of Wisconsin citizens. It is modeled after similar campaigns run by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in the cities of Chicago and Detroit. The Fox Cities planning group is one of 21 in the state this year. Money Smart Week Wisconsin 2009 will run October 10-17, 2009.
