DFI's Patricia Struck Elected to Key Leadership Post with State Bar of Wisconsin

Also receives 2011 Presidential Award

(Madison) The State Bar of Wisconsin's Board of Governors unanimously selected Patricia Struck, Administrator of the Division of Securities of the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) as its fiscal year 2012 chairperson at its annual meeting held in Wisconsin Dells on Thursday. The board determines the association's policies and directs its business activities.

Struck also received the organization’s 2011 Presidential Award. State Bar of Wisconsin President James C. Boll, Jr. chose Struck for this prestigious honor based on her efforts chairing the organization’s Committee on Committees.

“I congratulate Patricia Struck both on her election to this key position and for receiving the 2011 Presidential Award,” said DFI Secretary Peter Bildsten. This is a well-deserved honor that's indicative of her leadership at both the Bar and at DFI.

“I feel deeply honored to be selected as chairperson and also to receive the award on behalf of the whole committee,” said Struck.

Struck is a former president of the North American Securities Administrators Association, has lectured in securities law at the University of Wisconsin Law School and frequently speaks on issues relating to investor protection as well as broker-dealer and investment-adviser compliance.
