Parking

If you're visiting us for just an hour or two, we do have metered on-street parking in the area (check signs carefully for special rules and costs.) The City of Madison actively enforces its parking regulations. The city also operates several nearby public ramps. The ramps closest to DFI are the Civic Center (#5), State Street Capitol (#8) and Government East (#6). All are just a few blocks from the DFI's building (see map). Fees in the ramps vary.

Disabled parking on city streets is "free" wherever space is available if you have the proper license plates or official windshield sign. Disabled parking is also available in designated areas for all City of Madison public ramps and there are specially designated spaces for the disabled under our building. Please call ahead for directions to our designated spaces and availability information (266-1622). Please also note that since our ramp is privately managed, these spots would not be free parking.
