Piggy Banks : Inflation
This concept is a little more difficult to explain. Do you remember when the price of a soda pop was 50¢ or less? Well, now soda pop costs around 75¢ to $1.00. Over the years, prices rise. That is inflation.
So, the two dollars that could have bought 4 soda pops a couple of years ago can now buy only 2.
Imagine that you have been saving quarters in your piggy bank for 10 years. Those quarters just arent worth as much as they used to be!
So, how do you handle problems like these?
