Small Business Information Center

Since July 1, 1996, the Division of Securities of the Department of Financial Institutions has operated a Small Business Information Center that the Division designed to assist persons in understanding and complying with the Wisconsin Uniform Securities Law when using securities financing options and in gathering information regarding franchise opportunities available in this state.

The Mission Statement of the Center is:
to facilitate capital formation, and to ease access to the securities and franchise business opportunity markets through effective and efficient regulation, responsive customer service, and public outreach activities.
