Administrative Rules in Promulgation

1. Revisions to chapter DFI-CU 72 relating to State-chartered Credit Union Member Business Loans.

The rule has been re-filed with the Chief Clerks of the Senate and Assembly for referral to the appropriate committees for their review. That review will commence during the next biennial session of the legislature, which begins January 7, 2019.

The revised rule deletes a portion of a definition under s. DFI-CU 72.01(14)(a)2. and adds s. DFI-CU 72.01(14)(a)3. under this same definition. The purpose of the changes in this definition is to bring the rule into conformity with the Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act (S. 2155) that was signed into law May 24, 2018. The act made a change to the National Credit Union Administration’s member business loan rule, upon which the proposed rule is based.
